Originally named Plassey, and later New Plassey, another new owner, brewer and personnel took over in 2017. Some beer replicates the old Plassey range but others are new recipes. A number of one-off beers is produced. Winner of SIBA awards<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

McGivern Brewery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relocated in 2011 to the award-winning Bridge End Inn, Ruabon using a 2.5-barrel plant. Production is continuing on an occasional basis.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sandstone Brewery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandstone Brewery was established as a four-barrel plant in 2008. The brewery was taken over by the current owners in 2013. The beers are available at around 50 outlets in North West England and North Wales.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wrexham Lager Brewery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lager was first brewed in Wrexham in 1882. It returned to the city in 2011 with a 50-hectolitre brewery following the closure of the original brewery in 2000. The brewery now has new owners the Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney together with the Allen Family, The brewery are also in negotiations to acquire a larger premises in Wrexham. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
